View and inspect your PhotoMesh 3D models (tower, bridge, construction site, etc.) from within TerraExplorer, together with the source photos used to produce them. After setting an inspection point, the Photo Inspector tool displays the photos used to generate this section of the model. You can easily navigate within the model and between the model and its associated photos.
Using the Photo Inspector tool, you can also use inspection feature layers in which you mark and measure areas in your 3D model or on photos in the Photo Inspector. You can create a new layer for this purpose or designate any polyline or polygon feature layer created or loaded into the project as an inspection layer. Generate an advanced HTML or PDF inspection report with information about the project and all inspection markings and measurements, including a list of all inspection markings and an overview snapshot of the 3D model with the inspection annotations. Each of the inspection markings in the index links to a page with attribute information and a photo viewer showing the area of the model with the inspection marking.
To perform photo inspections, the Photo Inspector tool requires access to the PhotoMesh 3D model output (3DML) and the photos layer generated by PhotoMesh's aerotriangulation process. The tool also needs access to the folder or server containing the original photos used by PhotoMesh. More about: Using the Photo Inspector tool >
