Upgrade your experience with TerraExplorer Fusion, our new and powerful web-based 3D geospatial viewer. TerraExplorer Fusion offers many advantages over TerraExplorer for Web including: faster application loading times, improved rendering of large-scale layers, and full compatibility with TerraExplorer Desktop layer styling, objects, and API. - On the sidebar > Layers tab.
- Click the layer you want to edit, and then click Edit > Layer Properties . The Layer’s property sheet is displayed.
- Edit the layer properties as required:
- Name - Name of layer.
- Message - The message associated with the object.
- Tooltip - Text to display when the mouse cursor is placed over the layer in the 3D Window.
- Min. Visibility Distance - Sets the minimal distance from the camera below which the point cloud model disappears.
- Max. Visibility Distance - Sets the distance from the camera above which the point cloud model disappears.
- Point Size - Size, in pixels, of each of the point cloud’s points. If the point cloud’s point size is based on attribute values, you can view this information by clicking the Field by Attribute button . A point cloud's point size can only be based on attribute values from TerraExplorer Pro, before publishing the project that includes this point cloud.
- Point Color - Color of the point cloud points. . If the point cloud’s point color is based on attribute values, you can view this information by clicking the Field by Attribute button . A point cloud's point color can only be based on attribute values from TerraExplorer Pro, before publishing the project that includes this point cloud.
- Point Visibility - Determines if the point cloud’s points are visible. If the point cloud’s point visibility is based on attribute values, you can view this information by clicking the Field by Attribute button . A point cloud's point visibility can only be based on attribute values from TerraExplorer Pro, before publishing the project that includes this point cloud.
- Point SSE - The point cloud’s Level of Detail (LOD). When set to Normal, TerraExplorer determines the optimal quality to performance balance based on the current view. The “High” and “Best” settings will load more detailed models but are also more resource-intensive.
- Maintain Aspect Ratio - Maintain the point cloud's proportional relationship between the width, length, and height. If Yes is selected, when the scale factor in one axis is modified, the scale factor in the other two axes is automatically adjusted to maintain the original width:length:height ratio. If No is selected, the scale factor in each axis can be modified independently of the other axis scale factors.
- Scale - Determines the dimensions, of the point cloud model. The actual size of the model in the 3D World is the size of the model in its internal coordinate system times the Scale value, (i.e., if the model has a width of 5 units and the scale is set to 10, the width of the object in the 3D World is 50 meters.)
- X - Enter the X-coordinate for the point cloud model’s pivot point.
- Y - Enter the Y-coordinate for the point cloud model’s pivot point.
- Altitude - Enter the altitude, as defined in Altitude Method, for the point cloud model’s pivot point.
- Yaw - The direction angle of the point cloud along the vertical axis relative to north.
- Pitch - The tilt angle of the point cloud along its lateral axis relative to the horizon.
- Roll - The roll angle of the point cloud along its longitudinal (front-to-back) axis.
- Default Location - Click to restore the point cloud to its default position.
- Click OK.
