System Requirements

PhotoMesh 8.0

These requirements apply to both the master and fuser computers.

  • Operating System: Windows®11, Windows® Server 2022 / 2025. Ubuntu 24.04 – amd64 required (Only for PhotoMesh fusers).
  • System Memory: 16 GB RAM (32 GB recommended) per fuser. On a computer with 16 or more logical processors, 25 GB RAM is required per fuser. 50 GB disk space or more per fuser is recommended for temporary files (%TEMP%) on each computer.  
  • Processor: 4 logical processors (8 recommended). In the latest PhotoMesh performance tests on an i7 14th generation processor with 32 GB RAM and 28 logical cores that was running two fusers, output was between 75–80 gigapixels per day.
  • Graphics Processing Unit (GPU): Dedicated or onboard GPU (dedicated recommended, especially when running multiple fusers on a single machine).

TerraBuilder 7.2

  • Operating System: Windows® 10 / 11– 64-bit.
  • System Memory: 4 GB RAM (8 GB or more recommended).
  • Processor: 4 cores (8 cores recommended). TerraBuilder works best in a multi-core environment and can utilize multiple CPU’s and hyper-threaded processors.
  • Video Card: 256 MB of video memory (1 GB or more recommended).
  • User Privileges: Administrator privileges required for installation.
  • Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 or higher.

TerraExplorer for Desktop 8.0

  • Operating System: Windows® 10 / 11 – 64-bit.
  • System Memory: 2 GB RAM (4 GB or more recommended). For 4K render mode - 4 GB of RAM (8 GB or more recommended).
  • Processor: 4 cores (8 cores recommended).
  • Graphics Processing Unit (GPU): 1 GB of memory (2 GB or more recommended). For 4K render mode - 2 GB of memory (4 GB or more recommended). 
  • Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or higher.

TerraExplorer Fusion 8.0

  • Operating System: Windows® / Linux / Mac OS.
  • System Memory: 2 GB RAM (4 GB or more recommended).
  • Processor: 4 cores (8 cores recommended).
  • Browser: Chrome, Edge. Firefox and Safari supported with some limitations.

SkylineGlobe Server 8.0

  • System Memory: 8 GB RAM (16 GB or more recommended).
  • Processor: x86_64/AMD64 architecture. 4 cores (8 or 16 cores recommended).

    SkylineGlobe Server for Windows

  • Operating System: Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 (64-bit).
  • Additional Software: Microsoft IIS8.5, IIS10 with Net 4.8 and ASP.Net. If .Net 4.8 is missing, you can manually download and install it from: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net48
  • User Privileges: Administrator privileges required for installation and configuration.

    SkylineGlobe Server Edge for Windows

  • Operating System: Windows 10 / 11, Windows Server 2019 / 2022.
  • User Privileges: Administrator privileges required for running the service.

    SkylineGlobe Server Edge for Linux

  • Operating System: Ubuntu.
  • User Privileges: Wine version 7 and up, .Net 4.8.
